This Privacy Policy explains how Cristian Silva ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use BrandStarter (the "Service").

1) Information we collect

A. Information you provide

Account information (e.g., email, login details) when you create an account
User Content you submit (prompts, business name, industry, symbol, uploaded images, etc.)
Outputs you generate (logos and related results)
Messages you send to support (including contacting @madhawkcristian on X)

B. Anonymous use

Some features may allow anonymous generations without an account. We still collect the User Content you submit and the Outputs generated, and we may link activity to a device/session.

C. Information collected automatically

Usage data (pages/actions, feature usage, timestamps)
Device and log data (IP address, browser type, basic device info)
Cookies or similar tech used for authentication, preferences, and analytics

D. Payment info

If you pay for the Service, payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We typically receive billing status and limited transaction details, not full card details.

2) How we use information

We use information to:

Provide and operate the Service (generate outputs, store projects, account access)
Store your User Content and Outputs by default (so you can access them later)
Maintain security, prevent abuse, and enforce terms
Provide customer support
Analyze usage to improve features and performance
Improve the Service using User Content and Outputs (quality, reliability, and safety)

3) AI processing + improvement

BrandStarter uses automated systems to generate Outputs. By using the Service, you agree we may process User Content and Outputs to provide, maintain, and improve the Service.

Do not submit highly sensitive personal information (e.g., government IDs, medical info) you wouldn't want processed by automated systems.

4) Emails

We send transactional emails such as:

Password resets / account access
Receipts and billing-related messages
Important service/account notices

5) Analytics (PostHog)

We use PostHog to understand how the Service is used (e.g., page views, clicks, feature usage) and to improve the product. This may involve cookies or similar technologies.

6) Advertising and tracking

We do not use your User Content or Outputs for advertising, and we do not use them to build advertising profiles about you. We do not sell your personal information.

7) How we share information

We may share information with:

Service providers who help run the Service (hosting, email delivery, PostHog analytics, AI infrastructure, logging/monitoring)
Payment processors (to process transactions)
Legal/safety: if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and prevent fraud/abuse
Business changes: if the Service is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (data may transfer)

8) Data retention

We store User Content and Outputs by default and retain information as long as needed to:

provide the Service
comply with legal obligations
resolve disputes and enforce agreements

9) Your choices (including deletion)

You may request deletion of your account/data by messaging @madhawkcristian on X. Some information may be retained if required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

10) Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

11) Children's privacy

The Service is not intended for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us to request deletion.

12) International users

If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where service providers operate.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version is effective when posted with a new "Effective date."
